"The Preddy Brothers"

George and Bill Preddy were brothers who flew Mustangs in the 352nd Fighter Group during WWII.  Tragically, both were killed in combat. George was killed accidentally by friendly fire on  December 25, 1944. Bill died in combat the following April. both are buried in France. The brothers were from Greensboro, North Carolina and there you can find the Preddy Memorial Museum and these two original paintings, which are on permanent display there.
