"Marine Corsairs"
This is a painting of a flight of Marine Corsairs flying homeward somewhere over the Pacific. They have completed the last mission of the day and are thankful for not losing any pilots and for fair weather for the flight back to base. At times like this, a pilot could look down upon all the natural beauty of the deep blue Pacific Ocean, dotted with it's countless green islands, and wonder how there could be a war in such a place.
